I am Dr. Kristopher White. I am a biomedical researcher exploring biomaterials, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine.

  • I was raised in rural Southern Arkansas as the oldest child of a single mother. I have a bachelor of science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig!) and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers.

  • I am, first and foremost, a bioengineer. However, I believe that every scientist is an educator, whether we wanted it or not.

  • I approach the field of regenerative medicine from a tissue engineering perspective. Primarily, I focus on the biofunctionalization of synthetic polymers to accelerate and control tissue regeneration when implanted in the body.
